Welcome back and Happy New Year! I hope you had a fun and relaxing break (and few extra days thanks to the big snowstorm). Now that 2010 is here, it’s time to look forward to the rest of the school year. January will be a busy month, so please take a few minutes to read about all the information enclosed.

Tis the season to be crazy…
With the holidays fast approaching, and the calendar year coming to an end, this will be our final e-newsletter of 2009. We have received tons of positive feedback for the e- transmissions. I am so pleased we can keep the CVE community in the loop in a timely manner, while at the same time being environmentally friendly. Thanks to Alex Calderon for taking on this challenge.

Thanks to all who placed orders with Market day. Pickup is this Friday between 5-6pm at school. Keep an eye out for the next circular and happy shopping. Supporting Marketday supports the PTA and all the programs and activities we run during the year.

Mark your calendars for the next PTA meeting: Tuesday October 27 at 6:30pm in the CVE library. Our Guest Speaker will be Flo Flatko about the 5th great adventure to Camp Wo Me To. Refreshments and babysitting available. Please register on the PTA website for childcare for the meeting. Hope to see you there!
