URGENT– Silent Auction Update
We are still in need of volunteers to organize our annual Silent Auction. Last year, the Silent Auction raised close to $7,000! This money directly supported our teachers, school, and students. This is CVE’s major fundraiser and without volunteers, our PTA budget may not be able to support the wonderful programs and opportunities offered to our CVE students. Please contact Kim Kuhr firstname.lastname@example.org or Nancy Smelcer email@example.com if you have any questions. If we do not get enough volunteers to help with organizing this event and collecting donations, we will sadly have to cancel the event. We REALLY do not want to have to do that. Please help in any way you can! There will be a Silent Auction Committee Meeting on Wednesday (2/25/15) after the PTA Meeting. Please come if you can. Thank you!
As the school community and the Board of Education work together to determine the next steps we need to ensure that those families who are eligible to attend Cromwell Valley are aware of the registration process. If you or a family you know lives within the current walker boundary (see map below), the areas immediately surrounding the school, please help us get the word out that they are eligible to register their children to attend CVE. Also, if a current CVE student has a school age sibling, that student is also eligible to register. This applies to younger siblings who will turn five by September 1, 2015 and will enter kindergarten, as well as, siblings who are currently attending another elementary school in grades one through four. Thank you for getting the word out!
The map below shows the area that is considered the “walker” boundaries for Cromwell Valley. Click on the map to make it larger.
