Have A Hand In Your Child’s Future

Have you ever bought items that you weren’t ever going to use just to support your children? Have you ever wished that you could just make a donation to your child’s school and not hear about any fundraisers? Most of us, at some point, have asked ourselves one of these questions. Therefore, the PTA has decided to help relieve those issues. This year, we are bringing back our one-time donation campaign. Forget bugging your co-workers to support your child…forget asking grandparents to buy another item…forget the hassle of having to remember to turn in order forms and money collected. We are simplifying your life. This year, we ask that you have a hand in your child’s future! Rather than spending your money on fundraisers where Cromwell Valley Elementary only receives 40% of the profit, why not give CVE 100%! Every penny of your donation will stay at CVE. With the donations received last year we were able to purchase new picnic tables for the playground area! This year our GOAL is to: purchase updated play equipment, continue the 100 Book Challenge program, and continue to support student clubs, assemblies, school musicals, 3rd grade marketplace, Camp Wo-Me-To, and much more!
To meet this goal, we suggest each family donate $50.00 per child attending CVE. For example, a family with a 5th grader and a 2nd grader would be asked to donate $100.00. The PTA understands with economic times that some CVE families may find a $50.00 donation difficult; therefore Any Size Donation Is Greatly Appreciated! Come see us for Sneak A Peek/Back To School Picnic Night to make your donation.  Once school starts you can also send your donations in through your child’s teacher.  Donations are tax deductible. We encourage you to invite grandparents, aunts and uncles, and close friends to give a helping hand as well. You may direct them to our website or give them a copy of this information. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!
